Ainslie awarded commendation for science writing prize
Max Perutz Science Writing Award for MRC funded PhD Students
DPhil student Ainslie Johnstone has been awarded a commendation as part of the the Max Perutz Science Writing Award for Medical Research Council funded PhD students.
Ainslie's piece: "Practice – Not Miracles – Makes Perfect", was up against 13 other PhD students from around the country. The winner was announced at a ceremony on October 13th.
The award aims to encourage and recognise outstanding written communication among MRC PhD students. This year, students were asked to write an article of no more than 800 words, answering the questions: "Why does my research matter?".
