Matthijs (Thijs) de Buck
DPhil Student
I'm a DPhil Student in the physics group of the Oxford Centre for Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Brain (FMRIB). My research focuses on imaging neurovascular health in ultra-high field MRI.
In particular, my DPhil work focuses on the optimization of highly accelerated MR Angiography using compressed sensing reconstruction, and the improvement of intracranial vessel wall imaging using the DANTE-SPACE sequence at 7T.
I've previously worked on a project on the simulation of subject-specific SAR for parallel transmit-MRI using personalized body models consisting of clustered groups of tissue types.
