HOW TO SIGN UP TO MAILING LISTS
Most lists' memberships are managed via the WIN Registration Page. Follow the instructions in the IT User Guide.
If the mailing list you wish to join is not listed on the WIN Registration Page, then you can join by sending an email with the subject: 'subscribe mailistname My Name' to firstname.lastname@example.org.
OUR MAILING LISTS (FOR MEMBERS ONLY)
All WIN Centre members and users should automatically be added to email@example.com, which is compulsory. If you are not on this list and think you should be, or if you would like to be removed from this list, then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Items circulated via the list include:
- WIN meetings and seminars
- Relevant external meetings
- Paper submissions
- Relevant announcements
- Job adverts
email@example.com is an unmoderated list for WIN members and users. If you don't want to receive this, then you can safely unsubscribe without missing any important information, which will always be sent in the Monday Message. To subscribe or unsubscribe to this list, visit the WIN Registration Page.
You can use this list to advertise:
- Reminders of meetings and events
- Study advertisements
- Social events
- For sale/wanted
Please remember to include the location you are referring to in this email as it goes to individuals at all sites (for example 'the FMRIB kitchen' rather than 'the kitchen').
There are three building-related mailing lists:
firstname.lastname@example.org (for both FMRIB and WIN@FMRIB Annexe)
email@example.com (for OHBA building)
firstname.lastname@example.org (for BSB)
These are only for communications related to having a desk or space in one of those buildings and can only be posted to by building managers or administrators. Messages include information about:
- Building maintenance and repair
- Heating/air conditioning
- Parcel deliveries
Please use the Monday message or WIN Chat for any messages related to meetings or social events, even if you only anticipate people from one building will attend. Ensuring that everyone in WIN knows what is happening across the Centre will help foster the collaborative environment that WIN is keen to maintain.
