My passion for cognitive neuroscience began with a fascination for animal behaviour and ethology, and later on evolved into a deeper interest in the mechanistic aspects of how the neural circuits support complex behaviours, such as memory and learning. I'm now a DPhil student working with Dr Mohamady El-Gaby, Dr Thomas Akam, and Professor Tim Behrens. We are currently working on a project investigating the role of hippocampal-prefrontal circuits in supporting world model-goal model interaction using techniques such as in vivo electrophysiology and optogenetics.
