Magda's recent paper featured on the Society for Neuroscience blog

Magda's paper featured on Neuronline

A recent publication by our group has been features on the SfN Neuronline website - the society's member's only blog for learning and discussion of recent neuroscience advances.

The paper: Driving human motor cortical oscillations leads to behaviourally relevant changes in local GABAA inhibition: A tACS-TMS study was published in the Journal of Neuroscience.  More information can be found here, and the paper is available online here.

Manipulating Our Brain's Electrical Rhythms is available on Neuronline now.

“One of the long-standing quests of neuroscience is to unravel the mechanisms underlying the brain’s rhythmic activities and their functional importance. A growing body of evidence suggests that they are a mechanism for communication both within and between brain areas. They have therefore been postulated to play a vital role in cognitive and sensorimotor functions, such as memory, learning, and movement control.” – Magdalena Nowak
