We are excited to invite you to a special half-day OxCIN event dedicated to data harmonisation on 24th November 2025 (time – 9:45 to 13:30). This is the event in its second year and will gather OxCIN researchers and collaborators who are either working on or interested in overcoming the challenges of harmonising imaging data across different studies. The event will feature a mix of talks, discussions, and informal chats, with the option to attend in person in the Cowey rooms (OxCIN Annexe Building, University of Oxford) or to join online. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with experts and peers, hear the latest updates from the OxCIN harmonisation working group and contribute to the advancement of data harmonisation in imaging research.

Why Attend?

Harmonising imaging-derived measurements reduces variability across studies, enabling data pooling, reliable comparisons with reference populations, and ultimately supporting better clinical decision-making. Over the past year, the OxCIN harmonisation working group has advanced multiple aspects of this work, from collecting new data to developing and evaluating harmonisation methods. At this event, we will share our progress, gather feedback from different perspectives, and discuss how to advance our work in the next year and explore opportunities for collaboration.

What to Expect?

  • Get updates on the working group’s ongoing projects and recent accomplishments across different fields (analysis, physics, statistics etc.).
  • Learn about the real-world applications of our methods and lessons learned from analysing real data.
  • Share your perspectives, provide feedback, and contribute ideas to shape the next phase of harmonisation efforts.
  • For those not yet part of the working group, brainstorm ideas, explore potential collaborations, and find out how to join our Working Group.

Who Should Attend?

This event is designed for OxCIN researchers, clinicians, and other users of imaging-derived measurements who want to stay informed about harmonisation developments and provide feedback on tools and methods. Whether you are already using harmonisation approaches in your projects or are exploring how to apply them effectively, your insights will help shape future improvements and ensure our efforts in methods/tools meet the real-world needs.
