On 31 May, staff from our partner organisations Football Beyond Borders and Ignite Sport visited our research centre for a hands-on day of collaboration. Following neuroscience talks from our researchers, the partner staff were invited to watch an MRI scanner demo and discuss the relationship between different areas of the brain and football actions.

For the final part of the session, partner staff were the first-ever test audience for Football on the Brain's "roadshow activities" - quick engaging games that combine neuroscience and football concepts. The Football on the Brain team, including our Sports Engagement Ambassadors, trialled the games with partner staff, collecting feedback on elements to add, change, or remove. This feedback was incredibly helpful and allowed us to develop more flexible, entertaining, and adaptable activities for the range of youth audiences that these partner staff work with.
