Ubuntu 22 FortiClient setup

Installation

Download the Ubuntu FortiClient .deb file from https://links.fortinet.com/forticlient/deb/vpnagent and double-click on the downloaded file to open the software installer. Click the Install button to install the software

Configuration

Launch FortiClient using the shied icon in the top bar and then click 'configure VPN'

Ensure that SSL-VPN is selected then enter a Connection Name (e.g. FMRIB VPN). In the Remote Gateway box enter

https://vpn.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fmrib

Click 'Save'.
