Digital Precision Metrics and Plasma biomarkers in Alzheimer's Disease

My research aim is to test whether by combining plasma biomarkers with digital precision cognitive metrics it is possible to develop more sensitive measures to detect Alzheimer's Disease (AD) early and track disease progression over time. I am also interested in using these tools to achieve more precise clinical stratification of subjects at risk of developing AD, such as patients with Subjective Cognitive Impairment (SCI) and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). My work combines individual digital behavioural fingerprints, obtained though tablet or computer based assessments, and biological blood-derived markers of AD pathology. I also use neuroimaging to investigate the structural and functional correlates of these digital behavioural metrics in SCI, MCI and AD patients.
