Sarah Schreiber
MRes Student
Sarah is an MRes student supervised by Prof Ben Seymour in NDCN and Prof Tim Denison at IBME. Her research project focuses on the interplay between sleep and aversive learning, aiming to understand how learned memories are reorganized during sleep. Her work combines human behavior and computational modelling with neuroimaging during sleep and wakefulness to better understand the mechanisms involved in aversive learning.
Sarah completed her BSc in Medical Physics at the Technical University of Dortmund with a thesis on model-based learning and behavior in pain avoidance with the aim of understanding exploration and its effect on pain perception.
