Faye Tabone

DPhil Student in Clinical Neurosciences

I am a DPhil student working across the Translational Neuropsychology Group and the Physiological Neuroimaging Group. My research is funded by the Stroke Association and focuses on developing CARES: Cognitive Aid for REhabilitation in Stroke survivors.

I hold a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Sussex and an MSc in Neuropsychology from Maastricht University. My research interests centre on post-stroke cognitive impairment, particularly how it influences engagement to rehabilitation. My PhD project involves co-producing a complex intervention aimed at supporting behaviour change within rehabilitation settings.

Alongside my doctoral work, I also coordinate the Oxford Stroke Recovery Research Hub.
