James receives OHBM Merit Abstract Award
Award given for the 2017 meeting in Vancouver, Canada
Dr James Kolasinski has been selected to receive a Merit Abstract Award for the 2017 OHBM Annual Meeting in Vancouver, Canada. Only the top rated abstracts were selected for this competitive award, and James' selection was based on the hard work and quality science that was demonstrated in his submitted abstract, entitled: "Linking cortical architecture and perception: a mechanistic role for GABA?”.
This work was conducted in collaboration with various other members of the Physiological Neuroimaging Group, including Emily Hinson, John Logan, Daniel Manners, Yan Zand, and of course, Charlie Stagg.
OHBM (Organisation for Human Brain Mapping) is the primary international organisation dedicated to using neuroimaging to discover the organisation of the human brain. The annual conference (this year to be held in Vancouver, Canada) is one of the largest gatherings of neuroimaging specialists.
