James awarded 4-year fellowship at CUBRIC in Cardiff

Congratulations to James Kolasinski who has just been awarded a Henry Wellcome Fellowship from the Wellcome Trust.

James has been on a Junior Research Fellowship connected to the Plasticity Group having done his DPhil at FMRIB, co-supervised by Heidi Johansen-Berg and Charlie Stagg.

His new fellowship will be based at CUBRIC in Cardiff and will involve collaborations in Yale and here in Oxford. The project will use 7T fMRI, human electrophysiology, and ultrasound tactile stimulation to investigate the cross-talk between motor and somatosensory cortex that supports dexterity.

We wish James all the best with his future research.
