Sophie Schauman

Post-Doctoral Researcher in Neurovascular Image Reconstruction

I am a member of the Physics Group at the Oxford Centre for Functional MRI of the Brain (FMRIB).

My research is about imaging blood vessels in the brain (angiography). The technique I am using, and developing new reconstruction methods for, is called Vessel Encoded Arterial Spin Labelling (VE-ASL).  I am using compressed sensing and other non-linear methods to reconstruct undersampled VE-ASL angiograms.
