Research Coordinator

I joined Masud Husain’s Cognitive Neurology Research Group in September 2016 and I am currently working on projects investigating working memory in healthy and patient populations.

I am particularly interested in understanding the retrieval mechanisms underlying working memory in order to identify a cognitive biomarker with pharmacological and psychological manipulations. In order to do that I have been working on the development of new neuropsychological tools to understand how retrieval affects memory quality.

Prior to this, I completed an undergraduate and master’s degree in Biomedical and Biophysical Engineering at the University of Lisbon.
