My research interests are the neural mechanisms of cognition unique to humans: "what makes humans be humans."
I am especially interested in neurobiological processes of decision making: how information from the external world are processed, monitored, evaluated, and utilized to take the next reasonable actions in primates. I am attempting to solve the research questions by multidisciplinary approaches (experimental cognitive psychology, visual psychophysics, neurophysiological methods [fMRI and electrophysiology], comparative psychology and neurophysiology in primates).
