Jessica Walsh
MSc, PhD
Clinical Neuroimaging Research Facilitator
My role aims to enable clinical translatable neuroimaging research that has the potential to create positive and immediate change in the clinic. Working closely with Natalie Voets, I support clinical studies from set-up to completion by connecting teams up to appropriate collaborators and resources, preparing required documents for ethical approvals and coordinating data transfer and storage. My role is flexible to meet individual study requirements and works to support the teams as much as possible in the delivery of successful clinical research studies.
I have a background in clinical neuroimaging, with a PhD from the University of Cambridge where I used PET and MRI to study the role of the blood-brain barrier and neuroinflammation in cerebral small vessel disease.
I'd be delighted to hear from anybody who has questions, suggestions or research ideas, no matter how early stage they are!
