A DPhil candidate, and a product of the ONBI DTC (Oxford-Nottingham Biomedical Imaging Doctoral Training Centre). Working in the FMRIB physics group under Professor Karla Miller and Doctor Mark Chiew, looking at novel approaches to fMRI reconstruction.
Currently working on k-t PERRI (k-t Prior Enhanced Rank Reliant Inference), a method to accelerate radial fMRI via use of coils, low-rank constraints, and data-driven priors.
Received an MEng Oxon in Engineering Science, 2015, with a dissertation focussed on quantifying CEST through simulations. Courses taken in the degree focused on Biomedical Engineering and Information Engineering.
Undertook two internships with the Computation Health Informatics group in the Institute of Biomedical Engineering in the University of Oxford. Work included: validating dialysis data, using Gaussian Processes to predict Hypotension during dialysis, and developing the SEND project - an iPad app for nurses in wards to record vital sign data.
Research interests include: optimisation, image analysis, machine learning, low-rank methods, fMRI reconstruction, and pretty pictures.
