High-Performance Computing

Our high-performance compute cluster contains 620 processors and 10464 GB of memory.

It is currently housed in a server room in FMRIB. However, the cluster is outgrowing its space, and we are identifying an alternative location. At the time of the move – hopefully in early 2018 – new computing equipment will be purchased from WIN funding, replacing and expanding our processing capacity and reliability.

All members of WIN are welcome to have a WIN IT account, giving standard access to the server for a monthly charge.
