Our dedicated non-human primate scanner allows us to carry out the same functional and structural MRI scans as are acquired on our human scanners.

NHP Scanner

Originally installed in 2009 and upgraded in 2018, this scanner is equipped with dedicated RF coils for scanning non-human primates and all the MRI sequences available on clinical systems.

The facility also has a full anaesthetic set-up, stimulus presentation and animal preparation room.

You can take a virtual tour of the facility here.
