GLOW - Women in physics & engineering

GLOW - women in physics & engineering

The aim of GLOW is to celebrate and support WIN women trained in engineering and physics, who are still disproportionally underrepresented in their field.

GLOW hosts a variety of events, including closed gatherings that aim to provide a safe atmosphere for women to share personal experiences, and open discussions where allies are warmly welcome. Meetings often feature external invited guests to discuss specific topics of interest. We collaborate with WIN's other member networks to discuss intersectional issues.

The network is for all cis and trans women, as well as non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centres on the experiences of women. We welcome physicists & engineers from across all WIN groups and host departments.

The network is co-ordinated by Amy Howard

Massive thanks to Cristiana Tisca for her support with GLOW.
