Jessica Walsh

MSc, PhD

Research Translation and Impact Officer

My role aims to increase the real-world impact of the research at WIN, through the translation of knowledge and technology out of academia and into the wider world. My role spans across supporting translational clinical research, technology transfer/innovation and policy engagement. Activities include developing processes and infrastructure to support translational research, building relationships with translational partners and disseminating knowledge and learning across WIN.

I previously worked as a Clinical Neuroimaging Research Facilitator at WIN, where my role focussed on the set-up and support of clinical neuroimaging studies, bringing together clinical and research teams for collaborative research. Prior to this, I completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge, where I led a neuroimaging study using PET and MRI to study the role of the blood-brain barrier and neuroinflammation in cerebral small vessel disease.

Please do get in touch if you would like more information or support with translational and impact activities at WIN!
