Group of people relaxing and chatting in a common room

The WIN Early Career Researcher (ECR) group is for researchers at the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (WIN), University of Oxford. We lead on skills development and training to support people at a pivotal point in their careers. We have run events on what happens behind the scene at a grants evaluation panel and how to nail your fellowship pitch.

Our aim is to support the community through interactive workshops and seminars, custom made to fit the needs of people at the WIN. We currently run termly sessions on a range of themes, and these usually take place during a WIN Wednesday slot, with some additional sessions facilitated at other times. All events are advertised in the Monday Message and via WIN Chat.

Our previous sessions have included career pathways, what happens behind the scene at a grants evaluation panel, and how to nail your fellowship pitch. See more details of our past events under ‘ECR Seminars’.

We are actively looking for researchers affiliated with the WIN to join the ECR group, so please get in touch with melanie.fleming@ndcn.ox.ac.uk  and barbara.robinson@ndcn.ox.ac.uk to get involved, and to shape the future events.
